  1. Today we slept in til 10 after going to bed at 12am. Dogs didn't get up til then. When I had a nap at 2.30 because I had a headache, Bundy slept with me and we didn't wake up til 5. He got up and went to sleep in front of the heater and still is. Sleeping is an olympic sport. However if i want an action packed day, he'll be there helping me.
  2. Teebs, you couldn't do anything more than you did... Please don't make this even harder on yourself, be kind to yourself.
  3. Your sheep have rugs on  Such cute photos.
  4. It is just the location. I found when I went there last year (only twice because then I got busy and then injured so I've been out of training for nearly a year) that the instructors were brilliant. Class sizes were quite large in the early levels, but they take reactive dogs into consideration and spend 1/1 time with you if you're struggling. We started in one group, and the instructor could see we found it too easy so we got moved up after only a week. I also noticed when I was there that they lined you up at the start of class, and then asked who you were with the week before, so you could stay in the same group. megan_ knowing your two, I think Berwick would probably tick your boxes too, although i'm still undecided about the agility side of things there, I clashed pretty badly with one of the instructors in my first week and she put me off. We might go back and try flyball again  There's a few DOLers as well from memory..
  5. That's appauling quality, I'd be returning them, and probably wouldn't bother buying anymore.
  6. Lol Megan we haven't gone since last year! I'll see you Sunday :)
  7. I have the leather leads and i love them. I do need to remember to look after them better though. Even with my 'mistreatment' they're brilliant but i am getting some leather care stuff this weekend.
  8. I get asked if my vizsla is a ridgeback on a regular basis, often by the same person.
  9. Hope to see you there megan :) What do they do that you'd need to skip?? Do they see how your dog gets on with others or something? Are you coming to the agility class with Underdog on Sunday?
  10. Thank you. My dog is not quite the required 10 months- next intake, perhaps :) I think they do them in March and August for Action Dogs. We missed March this year, but are booked in for August
  11. She's lucky it was small enough to fit in a tissue
  12. Megan, you read my mind! The two closest to us, Moorabbin and Bentleigh have been ruled out by me too *sigh* Everytime i think i'll try them I change my mind
  13. I was hesitant about comfortis too, but it was the ONLY thing that killed the fleas on my two. I think the youngest brought it home with him after we went out one day, because one use of comfortis and the fleas were all gone. Frontline was useless and so was advantage. I'm another who only uses when necessary. Mum used comfortis on our oldies as they had a massive flea infestation, and poof all gone after one treatment.
  14. Thanks everyone. I'm glad you think he'll be fine Cos, I still laugh about how he went before Christmas with you after having six months off, the little show off :)
  15. Snook, this doesn't help with your isqueak issue but Wagsalot is also a DOLer, so you can get a DOL discount from them.
  16. Yep, we're down for August assessment so I hope we get in.
  17. Im only going because its the only one I can get to in time. I'd love to go to K9 though...
  18. That makes me feel better! Maybe you can be my cheer squad in August Megan :). He certainly seems to have chilled out the past few months.
  19. How old was your dog when you started dog sports? I've got a nearly 3yo vizsla. We started casual agility at 18mths with the view of joining a club and competing as he adores it. However life got in the way for a few reasons and im only now in the position to take it further. Is he too old to learn and eventually compete? I've had people tell me not to bother and that I've left it too late.
  20. My mum would take Bundy, the inlaws would take Diesel as he's technically theirs we just look after him for a few reasons.
  21. Our vets gave us spare cortizone tablets to keep on hand in case it happened again.
  22. Not really much you can do in that area. My friends agistment place is under water too.
  23. Mine do a quick zooooooom and a poop stop outside and then collapse in a heap on the couch
