  1. My vet recommended watering down the nutriderm and using it as a spray. Are you sure those spots arent just the dogs ticklish spots? My dog has them even in non allerfy season.
  2. Trip to the vet :) it could be all sorts of things. My dog is highly alleric to grass or something in it from October to March (sometimes a bit earlier or later). He breaks out in rashes and gets very hot. He's managed with cortisone and aloveen conditioner on his itchy spots. He is also pretty much housebound except for toilet breaks as even a walk down the street can cause him to stop, drop and crawl to scratch his stomach.
  3. It looks to be just a game to me too. I have a whinger, if hes asleep on my legs and I ask him to move he grumbles, same if he's on the end of the bed and I ask him to hop off. He will grumble but then does what hes told.
  4. 27 here, house is cooling. An hour ago it was 42 and I had one very stressed dog. He ended up in the bath to cool him down, now hes not panting and pacing the house.
  5. And kermit? Thimgs like this makes me so angry, it ruins it for genuine people.
  6. Landlines, its been around years. We play with them, they called twice a day for weeks but haven't heard a peep for ages. Not sure how anyone would think its ok to give bank details out to random people.
  7. Oh no, These photos remind me of when I said goodbye to my girl last year. Particularly raw as its her birthday tomorrow.
  8. Ditto. We have found the air dogs ones from clean run to be the hit in our house.
  9. Ahh the vizsla zooms, an endless source of entertainment. I adore my boy, but he is very high maintenance and takes a lot of work.
  10. My 23kg and 25kg dogs get 1 cup of food a day each and they are perfect. You need to decrease what he's being fed, it's too much for a little dog.
  11. You are humanising him abit much, much this is normal behaviour for dogs. My dogs do this regularly. They do it to get comfy on their beds. My boy nests then does 3 circles every time before settling. They are all different. Just chill out a bit, not everything is bad.
  12. My brother is allergic to my vizslas drool. He had noissues with Bundys sister and is fine with mums lab. Bundy licks him and he comes out in welts.
  13. Ahhh I need a new pouch. Wonder if the boys favourite balls are on free shipping,
  14. If the dogs demeanor is friendly then yes, but if I am uncertain no.
  15. She quotes depending on the individual but yes she should have a guide, I will tell her :)
  16. My friend does portraits. She is wonderful. http://www.saraagnew.com/testimonials.html The vizsla is my dogs sister(I had it commissioned for the breeder) and it matches the photo perfectly and is stunning in real life. Saving my pennies to get both my boys done.
  17. There's no aggression with ours but they definitely bully each other at times and it took us a while to wise up to what it was. Like with us it can be subtle.
  18. We would have similar here in that the youngin would refuse to come inside. Turns out the older dog gangs up on him and would stop him coming in. Now it only happens occasionally, if the young one is being annoying or I'm not quick enough to stop it. It's definite dominance in our house and isn't tolerated by either dog.
  19. She's so gorgeous. Been following your journey but not posting.
  20. One dog is fine, the other you just shut the door on him and he gives in. He also stands on the mat by the door and licks his feet dry before walking through the rest of the house.
