  1. Today, carboard box, old vomit , wood, grass, other dogs poop, and then finished the day with an old choc milk bottle carried it all the way home till I ruined the fun and removed it from her mouth.
  2. The rspca isn't slow to catch on, people will and clearly have paid that much. I agree it sounds like a little shit and I wouldn't buy it, and that's the thing that needs looking at, foster carer with no clue.
  3. Its sad really that he had such good intentions and it went wrong ( the gardener had a lot to do with that). I had a friend who worked for guide dogs in the UK and they tried using a standard poodle too , funnily she said the GSD's were the best guide dogs, but they didn't do well in kennels and people didn't want the as they were scared of them , she had 3 failed ones.
  4. The mini bullies I have met are far more energetic than the standards, and boy are BT's destructive  What about matching a mature dog of his breed of choice from a breeder?
  5. I really want to report my neighbour as its happened 4 times now, but I do have to live in the street and everyone is really friendly , I don't want to be the nasty old bag up the road, but 4 times is my limit. I have tried to tell him that his young entire male of a protective breed is not ideal to be sitting out the front, but he just doesn't get it, he says he is harmless .
  6. I have a neighbour a couple of houses up who thinks its fine to let his young male RR do the same to my dogs as we walk home( dead end st, so I have no option but to go past) The last time I was shaking after it had a go at mine, I tried kicking it too, but not easy with 3 onlead dogs of my own I'm trying to swing out of the way at the same time. Dipshit owner standing in the garage with his beer ," he only wants to play!" , he sure got a mouthful from me aswell .
  7. I had the same, a guy with a chi x on the other side of the road offlead, it crossed the road ,ran at mine from behind, nipped my cattledogs back leg, then ran halfway back out into the road and came at us again! I had a few choice words for the old guy walking it, but the incredible thing was, the very next day he let it do exactly the same I told him I would kick the fricken fog if it came near me again!!!!!
  8. Perhaps something along the line of: Insert country, how many breeds of dogs on list..........FAILED ......BSL dropped. " '' " " " " " " " " " ". etc etc. Then something like ,so why is Australia wasting taxpayers money doing it?
  9. I don't know what the answer is, joe bloggs who owns an oodle couldn't give a stuff about bull breeds. I am scared, my breed on looks alone will be next I have no doubt, and one of my others is second on the bite list stats. People are scared of certain breeds and that needs to change , how I don't know.
  10. They are a very well oiled money making machine, that's their priority, animals cost money to keep.
  11. Until they list the dogs they are going to put on the list I am really scared, and don't forget breeds like the Rough collie were on the list in Italy I believe( sure I will be corrected), so cute looking fluffy dogs may not be except forever.
  12. I'm just going with the thought that my bully only does things if she can see something in it for her, why go around something when you can walk through ,or over it,she must be smart  Terriers are bred to think for themselv's, I personally can't stand breeds that want you to tell them what to do all the time. :D
  13. Does it have the same effect if they poo when they don't realise? My old dally seems to be getting worse and at least once a week he gets up from laying on the rug and there is a poop where he has been, he has no idea he has done it, luckily I feed raw, so its pretty solid to just scoop up.
  14. And don't forget the best Bully Atlas I don't post as often ,simply because if you get there first you just say it so much better than I could I don't see the point  I miss a lot of the old dolers, Cordy used to have me in stitch's. I assume poodles and whippys work well, who rules the roost?
  15. steve at k9 pro. don't get someone like barkbusters etc in. go with a recommendation.
  16. Get some help, no one can tell wether she was protecting her ball or not without seeing it. she has growled many times by the sound of it, perhaps she just got fed up with you not doing anything about dogs annoying her so ramped it up herself? Dogs growl to warn, next move is action if you don't heed the warning signs they have no choice but to do it themselv's, dogs don't just snap, but the warnings are often missed.
  17. could it be the crystals have gone back into the bladder? I didn't think they could dissolve that fast.
  18. When I first got my BT she had been a kennel dog and did the same, had no idea how to walk on a lead, so I did what you are doing I dropped the lead and she followed my other dogs. Gradually I was able to pick it up, however she then decided when she had had enough she would throw herself onto the ground lay side down and refuse to move! This would be miles from home and trying to drag a brick along on its side didn't work, so I started to watch when I thought she would do it and gives quick jabs upwarded and keep her moving so she couldn't actually lay down, it worked .
  19. Since putting my BT on roo she looks great and no more pancreatic outbreaks, I feed it with Vans. I get mine from our petsthop that stocks raw meat by the kilo , my other 2 are on chicken, and I much prefer the roo, only its 4 times the price!
  20. Their Optimmune is $25 cheaper than I pay at the vet, I have just asked them if its a genuine brand or generic. Also I am getting one tube free for every 3 I buy at the vet atm, so its making it cheaper, but not sure how long that offer will last.
  21. If I see her out again I will ask her how much it was, she had it shipped from the USA. I didn't see her often as she walked very late in the evening, and I saw her last week and her BT had passed away. I could ask her if she is willing to sell it?
  22. A lady I often see out walking has a low type of doggie stroller she bought in the USA, its like those ones you see kids in behind push bikes . Her elderly BT was very happy laying in it, its nearer ground level ,nice and wide ,and she had her other 2 dogs either side, it has a big handel along the back, and give's lots of shade cover. I thought it was a great idea.
