  1. I tried the site a few weeks ago and it was down then too :/
  2. What's wrong with that? I buy chicken feet and give them to my pugs, they love them.
  3. You said he's registered, but is he actually mains registered?
  4. My pup came from a show breeder and still has her dewclaws (but she isn't mains registered).
  5. Toshman, how are the criminals feeling today?
  6. I saw those when I was researching booster seats for my pups, but couldn't bring myself to buy one We ended up with these instead because it looked a bit more practical and not so girly ;) (stock image, not my dog!)
  7. I finally thought to ask about price the day before I picked up my pup lol
  8. I'm female ... Max is my pups name, and she's also female
  9. Put one in a crate with a treat, and play with the other. Or spend time training, or grooming, or whatever. Just spend one on one time with it, while the other is elsewhere. Not just once a week at school, but regularly.
  10. If you come here using such emotive language, you have to expect some emotive language in return!
  11. I think it should be up to the employer to decide how they feel about the behaviour. If they feel the behaviour was appropriate, then they will ignore the report.
  12. Had someone tried to sell me anything at the checkout I would have reported them, I don't think it's got anything to do with having an attitude about BYB 'er's.
  13. I saw some of that the other day but hadn't seen the whole thing. It's so true, and cute!
  14. For my girl who thinks being chased is a game — I run away from her and make her chase me, it works a lot of the time in tricking her to come to me!
  15. There are heaps of houses with backyards in Alexandria And you don't need acreage to raise large dogs.
  16. - Quote from the thread linked above. Now I'm insanely curious to know exactly what percentage of Carpathian Wolf is in the breed - is it a situation like with Bengal cats? Despite being originally crossed with Asian Leopard Cats most today and particularly all those in Australia have less than 1% ALC blood. I can't seem to find any info on what percentage wild blood the average CzW has. That forum is awesome, it's just as bitchy as DOL
  17. But they are not on a good diet...they have to scrounge for their food and sometimes would even die from starvation. Domestic animals fed a raw diet have a very luxurious one, in that they are fed every day and kept at a responsible weight. Just because feral animals are on their 'natural' diet, doesn't mean they are going to be in tip top condition. No, but the logic being used isn't "luxurious food", it's "non processed food".
  18. I wouldn't use that anywhere near my dogs, or myself. We had a bottle in the office and had to remove it as the chemical smell just coming from the sealed bottle was SO strong it gave half the people nearby headaches! It smelled like a combo of nail polish remover and insect repellent
  19. I'm with PetPlan and they don't offer a discount for two dogs, only 3 and above I think.
  20. Strangely cheap for a breed that's supposedly so unique and the only ones available in Australia o_o
  21. And people wonder why breeders feel the need for contracts. Glad you find it so funny. I'd find it funny too, obviously the breeder doesn't care too much if they haven't kept in contact about this mystery litter they sprung on the buyer after they purchased it! You don't know that the breeder hasn't kept in contact or asked. Where is that written? (And for the record I don't agree with what the breeder said about having a litter, I'm speaking about dishonesty) I would think of the breeder kept in contact and wanted a litter, the lack of uterus would be a factor in conversation. Maybe. But I don't constantly ask my puppy people if the dog's desexed every time I speak with them because I trust them to do what we agreed on. From the limited details we have - they didn't agree on anything? The breeder announced the puppy someone bought would be used for breeding (which to me, screams BYB anyway), and buyer didn't sign anything agreeing to this. They didn't do anything wrong in desexing their dog, which they bought (and is their property to do what they want with).
