In the ABC news http://www.abc.net.a...-kennel/5321744 the reporter has said....

A volunteer from the Wildlife Information Rescue and Education Service took the two-and-a-half-metre snake to a vet to see if the python would regurgitate the chain.

The snake is still under observation and it may need surgery.

Poor little dog

I told my o/h and he didn't quite hear what I said, he thought they were taking the snake to the vet because they wanted the chain back.

Idiot o/h

It's unfortunate the lady didn't know any better, but I'm sure it would be a very shocking and upsetting way to lose a beloved family pet, so i really feel for her too. What an awful thing to happen!

I don't feel sorry for her at all. A chiX chained to a crappy little plastic kennel at night in a known area of snakes, she's an idiot and the poor little dog paid the price for her stupidity.

This is what my Aunt had at her place last December...

... and when my cousin got there it was just finishing the possum off...

That possum was a lot bigger than a Chi/Malt cross... and my aunt is in suburban Sydney!
