all my pedigreed dogs are chipped with their call name only. None with their full registered name which often has no direct connection with the call name cept for one.

congratulations :)

I'm glad we can't see it. It's her video and her page. If she wanted a bunch of strangers to look it would have been public. You might be well meaning but I would be furious if this was done to me.

I drove up from Victoria for my greyhound to see these 2.

Happy Birthday Maddie from me and the greys, don't think the cat wants to say anything :D

sounds like you dodged a bullet there with Rommi. Hope the healing all goes smoothly :)

I've had quite a few dogs and cats PTS over the years and never ever been given or offered a death certificate. Most I've ever got is a sympathy card from the vets office.

yeah cause the hands on workers are just such greedy buggers who only care about the money. Saw this on FB and all the stupid idiots making out that people are killing just for the money. To me, who has been there and done that, no amount of extra money makes up for the stress you feel doing that shitful job. It's like danger money, a recognition of how that job is out of the ordinary. I'd have taken it if it was around at the time, would have helped pay for the extra Dr visits I made. But I wouldn't have helped kill just to get it and neither would 99% of people in that position.

You don't have to say why. If the vet doesn't want to PTS an animal that's their right but to take it and lie, not on in any way, shape or form.

if I was the stud dog owner I wouldn't be signing anything until I got paid. They are possibly hoping the puppy owners putting pressure on the dam's owner will help them.

not surprised it was quick, she is so pretty

Getting Two Puppies To Keep Each Other Company...
Rebanne replied to Missymoo's topic in General Dog Discussion
I don't think two pups at the same time is automatically fraught with danger. Plenty of breeders run on 2 or more pups at a time for several months. If you have you head screwed on straight and, depending on the breed, it can work out quite well. -
short answer is no. I would feed a chicken wing before I would feed meat without the bone. Just adding meat, IMO, could unbalance the dry food.

Thanks will check it out a bit more. Another issue has now cropped up which has to be sorted first before I follow up on the SCT.

I did do a search but most of the information that came up was from 2011. That thread showed there was a lot of interest in it and people were starting to use it on their pets. I am now considering it for Fern. What's the latest thoughts on it? Good success rates? Does the Pet insurance companies pay out on it? ( I will be ringing PetPlan to check) Any updates, good or bad, would be appreciated.

A Follow On Thread For Those Who Now Have Their Puppy
Rebanne replied to julesluvscavs's topic in Puppy Chat
check with your neighbours first. Would not be a short fuse if he barked for most of the 2 hrs you were gone. -

The Melbourne Royal results site is saying third was the Norwegian Elkhound - Graabine Cruize To The Top. I am not there,so am going off what people are telling me, apologies for the error. many FB pages say it was the Irish Wolfhound, you can edit later if it was the Elkhound

No problem! :D

I don't think this would help. If the neighbour 'hears' the dog barking when it can't possibly be barking or isn't even at home then it sounds like mental health issues. I'd bet that if the dog was debarked, she would still complain about it barking. You're right, I took it that the dog was still barking alot, just not always when the neighbour was saying
