  1. Midway Motel, Kaniva, Vic. Stayed there on the way to and on the way back from the Adelaide Royal. For $15 extra was able to have Warrior in the room in his crate. Lovely cooked breakfast available and was $78 for a single per night. Basic but very clean and comfortable. Plenty of towels and hot water.
  2. They did a lap after the Puppy class was judged and it was explained to the public at Adelaide
  3. I would text you bback with a time suitable for you to call me. Calls cost a lot and not everyone has a huge plan. Also, for the OP, I prefer first contact to be made by email but I work night shift so it might be 3 or 4 days before I reply. I am on my way home from Adelaide Royal, currently at my daughters, for the past 8 days basically just relying on my phone and I would never reply to an email via the phone. Not to savvy to do that.
  4. I am a good breeder but not according to a few people here in this thread! I don't have homes lined up for pups before they are born and I advertise everywhere. I don't care where the homes come from, they are all vetted the same way.
  5. Not all foods suit all dogs. Mine do very well on Supercoat. Try something else for a couple of weeks and see if that makes a difference. Also it may just be changing of the coat as others have said.
  6. If I was walking past and your dog bashed through the fence I would have the ranger there so fast your head would spin. Who knows what he might do in such a state of heightened arousal. So it would be best for everyone if you could attend to the issue as quickly as possible. You wouldn't want to be responsible for some old lady having a heart attack.
  7. Why can't they have the whole yard? And you need 2 kennels. My 2 dogs have 7 different kennels to choose from. (I've had up to 4 dogs). I do separate my dogs when I am at work but that's because of the extreme playing and the soreness my older girl gets afterwards. I divided the whole backyard for them. If your dogs fight now over food they will find something else to fight over when confined in such a small space day in day out. I'd consider that size for one only
  8. He certainly is a handsome lad!
  9. They will be there all day.:-)
  10. others have answered about the muzzle but I'll answer the bolded bit. Greyhounds have indeed attacked and killed other dogs. They are, after all, a dog and no dog is perfect nor is any breed above biting another dog. Not all dogs are good with other dog's regardless of their breed. Greyhounds are sighthounds, they are hunters, they are very attracted to movement and I never forget that.
  11. I'll be there with Warrior :D
  12. Seriously????????????? Unintentional gold. I can't quite convey how wild I am at what you have done with SOMEONE ELSE'S words, but I assure you I will find a way if you ever do it to mine. you might be wild, I am disgusted and have acted upon it
  13. The TV said so! They never lie! and it was in the paper, must be true
  14. Police also lie their heads off - until they realise the incident was recorded. Fixed that for you. Hardly. In future please refrain from changing my quotes. I'd hate for someone to think I actually did say that and that is precisely the impression your editing conveys. Incident recording keeps everyone honest. If that's your point, make it for yourself. Police are people by the way, regardless of what you think. I'm sure everyone here would be intelligent enough to go back to your actual quote. ;) Not the point.
  15. me too, temperament has always been a biggie with me. I love bounceback! (resilience)
  16. I wouldn't like that answer either. Frankly I would just try the Bowen or acupuncture and see how she goes. If her back is out she may not be able to squat as long as she should to finish properly. I can give you details of a greyhound man that won't cost the earth if you want to try manipulation first. Not bowen or acupuncture though. He does pets and is in Chiltern
  17. which you were going breed she doesn't want to be a registered breeder, she wants to be a byb. she's stated that several times. I've missed that info She's on the wrong forum them Actually Juno just got back from being desexed today, so that would be hard. not really, you can just go get another $500 special from down the road

  19. I have crate trained several pups over the years and I've never bothered with crate games or any such thing. I bring pup home and come night time pup is put in crate in my bedroom and that's it. Set the alarm twice overnight for a few nights, then once, then none. Pop pup in crate during day if I am going out no drama. Go to a show, pup goes in crate. No issues. My advice is - don't over think it.
