  2. Not sure if you can take your dogs?? give DOGS NSW a ring. There is a championship show as well. I will be there with my 2x 12mth Std Poodle puppies.

  5. So funny krislin.....u have a way with words!.....cracked up both me and my husband!!...we thought we were the only ones that dealt with the stinky chicken farts out of the poodles!! Am saving the chicken for the morning so we don't have to smell it all nite in the bedroom!!...lol
  6. I feel for you....I had my dogs out for a walk & meet a women who almost wanted an argument with me about my Std Poodle. She kept telling me "no thats a labradoodle" ...... she was pointing at my show dog in puppy trim!! I just laughed and walked away muttering

  9. Plush Puppy have a grooming area set up with about 8 tables at the end in the middle lot of benches... Checked it out today....and my benches are directly opposite for saturday.....thank god as I will have 1 white slobbery poo pup when I arrive. Wont be parking in P1 next year.....ended up walking heaps further
  10. Ahhhh..NO. Grooming table is a must. The bench is somewhere people put crates with dogs or dogs can sit in there that don't have major grooming with topknots & hairspay etc
  11. ....I usually end up taking less to the Royal ...No gazebo & walls etc. I will have my trolley loaded up with a couple of folding chairs, grooming table, tack box, clothes & a esky full of drinks and nibblies :D All while trying to handle the 2 crazy poo's covered in slobber from the car trip.
  12. Yes your benching slip will get you in, if you need more tickets....entry is available at the turnstills before 9am as some of the judging in the main arena starts before 9am. Stonecutter....be there early!! it is a bit like organised chaos sometimes!! I will be there as early as possible to set up my grooming tables and the naughty poo's :D It is a fair hike to exhibitor parking...esp if you don't have a helper! You can still purchase exhibtor parking on the day in exh parking even if you didn't prebook....I have done it every year. I wised up this year though & prebooked a ticket thru RAS to P1...its closer & you can come & go as many times as you wish in 24hrs if you need to Just received by benching slip & stuff for my pussy cats.....it looks completely stuffed up. The day for judging on the slip is different to the day advertised in sch. & catalogues!!!! Am trying not to panic....will ring Deb in the morning!
  13. We treated a dog that had swallowed a mango seed. We gave it a tin of dog food to eat! then the crystals....5 mins later vomit with the mango seed in it The food made it alot easier to bring up the foriegn body. Worked well with a paddlepop stick as well

  16. Hi all.....My gazebo has finally packed it in at a storm with hubby in Canberra this morning? I need to buy a new one and I see around at shows there are a couple of styles I am after advice - Which one :D Ease of putting up, if on my own....the old one was always struggle on my own. Anywhere cheaper than BCF I have Std Poodles so need space for a crate & a table. Enough room for preparing 2 poo's ;)
  17. Gosh.....my 6 month old pups get a pigs ear most days in their crate of a morning. But all my Std Poodles have bones everyday either :- chicken carcass chicken necks chicken wings turkey necks or bones from the butchers. Just depends on what I have here :D Seems I am always buying bones
  18. Thanks Meea. I will be at Castle Hill with the 2 naughty poo's :D
  19. Just found all the info am looking for Great I couldn't find anything anywhere. My poo's & me need to brush up before the Royal
  20. Would love the same stonecutter  ....have been wondering if their were any handling classes up this neck of the woods ;) Bummer I finish work at Wyong at 6pm. Am thinking of going to Castle Hill. But I have heard 2 conflicting nites....Tues or Wedns
  21. There is nowhere in the world where there are no children. Unfortunately euth for me. I speak from my own person experience with my own dog. I turned my life & that of my family upside down. My own kelpxcattledog (20yrs ago) seriously attacked me & left me with horrible scars - both physical & emotional. Would never go thru that again, nor expect anyone else to either. Its all to easy to own a dog. Unfortunately the dog has to pay with their life.
  22. Cool Again....I'll be the one trying to handle 2 silly poo's :)
