  1. You are so lucky getting a Dobermann pup.. For some reason i thought of Gillis as in Dobie Gillis for those old enough to remember the Tv show. Wait and see if he is Bold or the quiet type and find a name to suit. Also like Mosely , Dillon and Rocky.
  2. she needs some pearls and a little pill box hat. Love it ! just stunning.Gorgeous girl too.
  3. Thanks again everyone.
  4. So happy all went well. What a little sweety adopting scooby do as well.Need pictures soon too.
  5. :) Ok will pass on the list;thanks.
  6. That's what i thought too.It has been a long time since i had a young pup but I'm sure mine chomped on bones from a young age. Vet said they can get splinters of bone stuck in their stomach .Maybe he meant not to give cooked bones which she already new.
  7. Not a problem but want to ask what things can a pup have to chew on.? Daughter has a 15 week old GS Pointer x Staffordshire;she has given her pigs ears but Vet said no bones so what things can she have to chew on for her teeth. Also any toys you can recommend and i will pass on the info. Many thanks..
  8. If the white hair is only where the collar is i would say that something in the collar has caused it. Dogs can get Vitiligo causing the skin and fur to lose pigment...efs http://www.gopetsame...h/vitiligo.aspx
  9. wouldn't hurt to get a second opinion from another Vet. http://www.ehow.com/how_5608415_induce-dog_s-labor.html
  10. Maybe she's trying to tell you it's time to buy her a training bra. Funny;one of my daughters used to do this when she was a toddler.
  11. Could it have been a Leonberger ?
  12. I don't see why they wouldn't give back your deposit;but better to ask now rather than later so they can find another home for the pup. They may be knocking back other people thinking you are taking the pup.
  13. Very sorry for your loss. .
  14. Can you hire a cat trap ;set it up and wait nearby to see if you can get him that way.
  15. This thread has started me doing research again for a dog for me.I also have allergies so it does make it harder. http://www.showdog.c...edselector.aspx

  17. If you want a more independent Retriever then go with the Curly Coated Retriever .If you also still want to go with more of a challenge then perhaps also look at the Chesapeake Bay Retriever.
  18. The Curly Coated Retriever has a coat drop once or twice a year with quite a lot of coat shed. The rest of the time very little shedding. ETadd Would a Collie suit ? I'm not sure about the shedding with them though. When i was a child our neigbour had a Collie and he was a good watch dog.

  20. A Standard Shnauzer; Aierdale;or Portuguese Water dog would be well worth researching. Keep in mind with very large breeds you do need to have enough strength to handle them particularly when they are in the adolescent stage and want to push the boundaries . Have you owned dogs before.?
  21. There is a coated variety too;they have different shaped ears.
  22. Depend what site you look at, this one looks totally different to that one to me :/ http://www.dogbreedi...rchidphotos.htm The ones on Animal planet video look like your link Hazy..
