  1. I hope you don't mind Hazy ,i want to highlight these darling dogs. https://www.petrescu...listings/401326
  2. Loved the video;Happy teary here. Daughters Gap Greyhound Whinny has settled very well. She loves car rides and visiting with friends and relatives and has made friends with their little dogs. She has 2 walks a day and romps and plays in the yard then has long naps on her bed with her soft toys.
  3. Very sorry about losing your cat Steve. The neighbours have a dog that can escape easily ,probably needs 8 foot fences; it is up to the owners to do what is needed to prevent the dog getting out. The Op keeps her own dogs contained and should not have to alter her property to keep the neighbours dog out. I hope Cookie cat can recover .
  4. Great photos, lovely pups. What breed is uncle Rupert?

  6. On second thought not sure if Beagles are that keen on swimming ? Would a Toller be suitable or are they a bit too big ? A smooth Fox Terrier if you like high energy.
  7. I know one also actually. He wasn't trained either at the start, but they did get him fully trained and certified in the end :) But i just seemed to come naturally to him! Yes ;she said he seems to know when something is not right and nudges her face a certain way and will not leave her side. She has called for help each time and by the time help comes sure enough she is in need of it.
  8. Would they consider a Poodle.I know a lady who has a Standard Poodle that alerts her when she is unwell with diabetes problems and she will call for help. The dog has not had any formal training for this .
  9. Sounds like a copy of controlled crying for babies.Babies and puppies should not be left to cry in the hope they just give up on their own.Ridiculous. Maybe print up some training info for them.
  10. What a dear little chap.He looks very happy and relaxed.
  11. My mother often said she was sending me away to a childrens home if i misbehaved. Mum sent away two of my dogs; i came home from school grabbed the lead to take him for a walk and she told me she had called the ranger to take him;i had to watch him being taken away. Another she got my brother to take to the pound when i was on school camp because she dug her roses out. Most of my dogs were given to me by my older brothers who got them from friends whose dog had pups. One was dumped on my front lawn by a friends friend. I also had a dog stolen from our yard when we were home inside. Another was hit by a car when my brother left the gate open. I didn't want to have dogs after all this as mum didn't like dogs and there was always the worry if they would be there when i came home. Oh and the aviary full of my budgies she let loose after i had a minor argument with her. Ahhh! too many bad memories;i feel sick now.. I hope it's not true about this woman.
  12. This part is very sad... T. Poor children !! The woman needs help fast and i think her going public about it is a cry for help. What of her childrens father could he not step in and do something about her.
  13. So if a kid runs out into the road and gets knocked down by a car is that the car driver's fault? Yes kids do things they shouldn't but that doesn't mean they aren't to blame for the consequences. Adults should be watching that children do not run on the road or go near strange dogs; but accidents can still happen in the blink of the eye.
  14. I can't believe people are blaming the victim once again. An 8 year old child .You can tell kids not to do something and guess what sometimes they do it anyway because they are kids not adults. It is about time people stopped breeding and owning aggressive dogs,Society needs stable human friendly pets; not ones that maim and kill.
  15. My dog had the meaty chew ones ,can't remember the name and just ate them fine. Could try crushing the pills and mix them with Vegemite ,it worked for my cat who is impossible to get pills into.
  16. Also love the one with the cat ,what lovely pets you have and they know they are lucky to have such a great home.
  17. So sorry sending prayers and healing vibes .
  18. She must have thought the dog had a glass eye like some people have,
  19. Where does it say they want to breed her ? The Op says pup is for a family pet. It's in the OP - I missed it. Oh sorry i need to wear my glasses.
