  1. Tramadol will make her drowsy. Hopefully she won't need any pain relief soon.
  2. Which pain meds is she on as some often zonk them out? Glad she is home and hope she is back to her normal self soon. :)
  3. I have to take meds on an empty stomach so have to wait until 3 hours after a feed.
  4. I spent $2,000 at the vets last month so I'm not counting up for the year! This was 2 separate problems with a cat and one problem with a dog.
  5. Have you tried the medication for her Helen? It worked for my Cav for a while but is not working now, unfortunately. Others have told me it worked for them for many years.
  6. I've used both Nexguard and Bravecto without any problems but am sticking with Nexguard as it is easier to remember to do monthy.
  7. She's gorgeous but we need more photos of the blue girl! :)
  8. I'm so sorry to hear this news. RIP beautiful girl.
  9. I haven't seen any Viagra like symptoms (yet?) but the second night she was on it there was only a little dampness and all nice and dry every night since! I've started her on the twice a week dose now so fingers crossed that it is enough to keep her right.
  10. I'm on the South Coast and it is all over the local FB pages so hopefully people mention it to neighbouring holiday makers. A lot seem to be heading back today as well.
  11. There are quite a few websites for house sitting: Google results
  12. I've just started my senior Cav spay on this and am wondering how long before the night-time incontinence stops. The getting up in the middle of the night to let her out to pee isn't bothering me, it's the chasing around the yard of the 14 year old cattle dog that is - he wants to stay out!
  13. You'll have to wait 2-3 weeks until you see new hair growth. Minimum treatment time is 6 weeks from experience - keep up the Malaseb twice a week and Canesten cream twice daily.
  14. I think the bathing in Malaseb every day is too much as it is harsh on the skin. With ringworm it takes about 4-6 weeks to see an improvement. It may look worse as the hair shaft is damaged so already damaged bits may be falling out to make it look worse. ETA: It is the foam that has the action in it so are you making it really foamy and leaving on for 10 minutes?
  15. Denise from PAWS often takes in Poodles. There was a rescue section of the NSW Poodle Club too but Google isn't bringing it up for me.
  16. It depends a lot on your location eg, Sydney prices are higher than regional and so on. I pay $30 a day for a local company to visit my 5 cats twice a day but I am in a regional area and close to where she lives. The owner also vacuumed - she's a gem!
  17. Contact the seller and see if they will put up a video. It will help them sell more beds if it is easy.
  18. These look good! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Portable-Washable-Comfy-Pet-Dog-Cat-Bed-Keep-Pets-Off-the-Ground-Metal-Frame-/121797050172?var=&hash=item1c5bab7f3c:m:mjo0arJXonB9Vj5o0gtbx5A These ones are even better: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Portable-Washable-Orthopedic-Foam-Super-Comfy-Soft-Pet-Dog-Cat-Bed-Heavy-Duty-/121476628071?var=&hash=item1c48923e67:m:mw3zRCF4R42mAemPl40gWpA
  19. I had one that folder up like the double camp chair that CHA has mentioned. Only the small dog used it as it was a bit unstable. I think the camp chair is the way too go depending on how big your dogs are.
  20. I had a test run with mine. They came and stayed for 3 nights while I went and stayed with a friend about 1.5 hours away. All went well but unfortunately, as my luck would have it, when it came to the big trip one of the couple became ill so they had to pull out, but luckily I had a friend who could stay.
