Poor old girl I hope her owners are found soon. I've shared on Facebook, link below. https://www.facebook.com/petsofperth/photos/a.618080751560836.1073741863.207966705905578/643849678983943/?type=1 -
Yes, nice spider :) We have a macro thread, you should add some shots to it :) Which macro lens do you have? http://www.dolforums.com.au/topic/215431-macro-photos/

About Your Photgraphy
CrazyCresties replied to Lady Flying Furball's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
How long have you been taking photos? I've always had an interest in photography and had a Minolta SLR in the late 80's which I messed around with for a while, but then didn't really get back into it until 2011. Are you professional, amateur, artist, something else? Amateur. Do you have a main subject (portrait, pets etc)? Bugs, Birds and Pets Do you have a favourite technique or photography set-up? (Or a few) Macro, and like Pers, I guess 'hunting' for little critters that most people overlook What is your learning edge at the moment? I've been shooting manual for about a year now and trying to improve my exposure skills. What equipment do you use? Canon 7D and a mix of zoom and prime lenses. Any current projects? Just the 52 weeks. Future hopes, visions and/or experiences? Try to put more time into my hobby and get out and about a bit more, rather than taking photos from the comfort zone that is my garden! A statement about what you strive for with your work: Not really a statement, but I love peoples reactions when they realise that some spiders and bugs are actually pretty amazing when you stop to look at the details. -
Sounds perfect for our Pers ????

Oh poor kitty huga - would love to see it's face, do you have a face shot? I really don't do anything apart from critters, so it was a leap for me to point the camera at people instead of animals, luckily there were cameras everywhere so no one noticed me. 5/52 2014 by HairlessHounds, on Flickr -
Ooooo beautiful huga - love it!

Signed - wishing Ruby and her family the best of luck to get her back home again soon :crossfingers:

I thought you had branched out into English Springer Spaniels for a moment  Not so, but just as adorable :)

This was just taken with my phone, but I'm intrigued by the lights in the water. I had my flash on by mistake and I wonder if it reflected on the Sea Gooseberries (Ctenophores) that were in the water? Either that or it's just sun light reflections, but as my theme is 'all creatures great and small' I'm going with little critters  8/52 - City Beach Sunset. 8/52 2014 by HairlessHounds, on Flickr

I like how you have made the lighting a bit more dramatic, but with cropping you should try to leave some space in the frame for your subject to move into - I hope you don't mind me cropping your original one to demonstrate :)

Beautiful again, you have such lovely models, very jealous :D Oscar is a cutie, but all Shetlands are devils in disguise

Lots of useful information in here, thanks everyone :) I just signed Louis up for some training, but they requested vaccination cards. Louis was last vaccinated 4 years ago and due to his recent IMHA can never be vaccinated again. It sounds like the training club will accept a titre test though, and having rung my lovely vet, they are happy to do titre testing and the result will be back within a day :)
