  5. Just wondering how your going Brook? Hope your OK?
  6. Tirfecta, love those. Not too pricey either. Sonny's birthday coming up in June. I love the limited slip ones especially. The rolled ones are nice as well. His fur wont get as tangled :)
  7. Fast & focused sounds right up Stella's alley grumpette. I don't know what it exactly entails yet but it sounds like fun. I have a fair bit of work to do with Stel. Mostly fine tuning like her stays aren't proofed & her heeling is well, still a work in progress but am hoping now I seem to have her progressing well emotionally & meds are sorted I am going to try & slowly step up her training. She is a very smart little girl & a very fast learner. I am going to have to really lift my game. I have never trained a dog past the basics. So I have to learn as I go. Mostly Utube & DOL. Yes we need to make those Rally O signs on the big side. I'm as blind as a bat without my glasses on ????
  8. Oh WOW DiscoDobe Ping is such a cutie ???? He thinks your the best thing since sliced bread ???????????? He is having a blast in the show ring. Just fabulous !!!
  9. Yes I noticed that man's dog was flying over his jump even with his owners back to him. Just fabulous to watch. So well trained. I'm just making a start into dog sports. Watching clips like these give me such inspiration. I'm in ore of the abundance of 'veteran' talent. Rally 0 is something I could try. I hope to do all this at home because my girl is too reactive to have a run with other dogs ATM anyway. Would never say never though as she has come a very long way which is wonderful. Grumpette yes lets do a Veterans Rally O LOL ????????
  10. I'm another not unlike yourself grumpette. Turning 52 this year & I was fearing that I would be too old to own another BC puppy after the dreaded time comes & I have to say bye to my now 6 & 4 year old BC's. There is hope for us yet ????
  11. My Border Collie bitch was a fierce resource guarder when I got her at 12 weeks. Though she never bite me she was very aggressive/protective around her food. If I approached her while eating she would charge at me, teeth bared, ears flat to her head & hackles raised high. Growling continually. She mean't business. I did work through this issue with the help of her breeder but it took quite a while. It's the kind of problem that you have to keep your eye on for the life of the dog though. They can have tendencies to guard other things like their toys etc etc. As it turns out she has a multitude of behaviorial issues as well. I think your pup is a very severe case already having bitten you drawing blood. Being a Maremma. I'm not very breed savvy but they are bred to guard stock & they are a large powerful dog fully grown. I'm sorry but I see huge red flags with this. I would be thinking very long & hard about you want to do. He is going to be a huge amount of work, not to mention $$$ to bring him around & there is no guarantee's you will succeed. If you decide to keep him. Then I would contact his breeder. Then contact a very experienced behaviorist/trainer. In the meantime by extremely careful around him. Hand feed him. Don't leave anything on the ground ie. food bowls, bones etc no matter how old. My girl will resource guard the garbage tin if I allow her.
  12. How gorgeous ???? Magnificent coat. Beaming with good health. Enjoy!!!
  13. Ernie is awesome SM... Gorgeous boy ????
  14. I can see why you couldn't choose between these 2 lovely oldies Hazy Both of them are just adorable. All paws crossed they find a comfy spot on someones lounge very soon :)
  15. Gorgeous Mac's as adorable as ever
  16. This is hilarious. Between hummungus stuffed crocs & rotisserie chickens. Thought I was on the Master chef thread for a second LOL
  17. I'd be staying home with Bonnie Better but that is me. I can't leave Stella either because of her reactivity/ phobias & separation anxiety. She is a cot case on her own in unfamiliar surroundings. It honestly doesn't bother me as I'd only worry if I left her any where anyway. You have every right to have rules for Annie or make suitable arrangements around her. That is part of being a responsible dog owner :) & I for one highly commend you for your dedication.
  18. Ya for lovely Patch Big thanks everyone concerned Another very lucky boy
  19. I thought I'd BBQ up some Kanga Bangers. Kangaroo sausages. When cold I cut them all up really small & bagged them up into sandwich bags & popped them in the freezer. Gosh they were a hit. Dogs went nuts for them. They are excellent as they are low fat & no preservatives. Winner !!!
  20. Oh I see. Stella is a reactive girl in the car as well. She has improved lots though. When she was a youngster she would bark & growl at pretty much everything she saw as we were driving along. Now it is usually if she see's another BC or the postie. Otherwise she just lays down & is quiet as a mouse which is fabulous. Great idea to cover Annies crate but just be careful she doesn't get too hot BL :)
  21. Yes, how very true... go figure??? I will never understand it ... There is a new ad on TV lately with 2 or 3 TV celeb's holding dogs & saying stuff like, " I was told she was a champion breeder, then it flashes a picture of the same breed dog in puppy farm facilities & so on . Very effective ad in my opinion. Notice they are airing it in prime viewing time as well That's a big part of the huge problem I believe. People just see this cute puppy in the pet shop window BUT they just don't stop & think where did this cute puppy actually come from. They just don't see the big picture.
  22. Better late, she doesn't like car rides? Much safer & she may feel more secure in her new crate. Pleased to hear your BAT session went so very well. How nice is it to have a win
  23. Oh many thanks, will do :) Much appreciated...
