From the photo, the breeder has given you a show lead. You need a proper collar and lead for walking. I don't bother getting them used to having a lead on, just pop it on and carry them outside to go for a little walk, usually i will drive to the local park and take an older dog with me so they have another to follow and see what is interesting. Stand is quite a difficult one to teach if you have already done 'sit' (this is why a lot of show people don't teach a sit), I get the pup used to being stacked and rewarded for standing and sit happens just by waiting for pup to calm down for food to be put down, later I can add the word to the action. down can be taught from a stand, taking the treat low and then slowly between the front legs. or you can get the dog to follow the treat under a low obstacle so she has to crawl, as sson as she drops you can reward.

As neither have the correct fronts, do you really want to keep one from this mating? What is the dams shoulders like? Maybe try again with a different sire and see if you can get correct shoulders and some of the other improvements you wanted?

I'd be inclined to bark at her as soon as she was approaching, see if you can out 'crazy lady' her and she if she will leave you alone

I groom a Cocker Spaniel, he used to have a stripped coat and kept in pretty much show condition, even though a pet only. He went to kennels and I didn't see the dog for several months. Turned out the owner had asked for the dog to be groomed while he was in kennels. The kennels had the dog bedded on wood chips which matted the coat up, so they shaved all the coat off. Just goes to show how careful you need to be in choosing a kennels and in being precise about what you want them to do with your dog.

I don't charge except for any additional vaccinations the pup would get while still with me. The cost of keeping a puppy for a few extra weeks is to minimal to worry about it

Can't you get someone to go in and feed the pup at lunchtime and give some companionship to it for awhile, then keeping pup separate to the adults wouldn't be an issue
