  1. Since when has Debra Tranter held powers to investigate.
  2. I wouldn't clip them off either, I left it to another groomer to do the dog a disservice
  3. That's above and beyond flight costs to import a dog. I can fly a dog from my home airport to anywhere in the country for less than $400 and could accompany my dog for much much less
  4. $35 -30 a day or what you charge for overnight stays as they tie up a kennel and yard for essentially what could have been two nights.
  5. mehh who does that when you are out to peddle your wares
  6. The least they could have done was spell check their page
  7. That's an Amstaff or at least I think it is, it's certainly not an SBT
  8. without hesitation I would recommend Anna-Lee from Yukan, the dogs are stunning and have great temperaments and she has always put the breed first over the years.
  9. You are selling your lines, taking the risk, staking your reputation, selling your best.
  10. Discuss the options of surrender and rehome and euth if they do not want to . If the clinic does not want to PTS the animal and they cannot get surrender consent from the owner, then they should refer to another vet. No vet or vet nurse has the right to take an animal and keep or rehome it without the owners consent
  11. If that's a Chi I'll eat my hat and someone else's, there's not a hallmark of the breed present
  12. only three now but I have as many as 12 at a time, probably won't get those numbers again as no longer breeding or exhibiting
  13. Way too thin, an appalling lack of muscle and up to 13kg's of food a day suggests that he had metabolic issues.
  14. Have always had entire males in the house , along with bitches that come into season. It's not hard to house train a boy.
  15. Given how ugly and odd looking some greyhound litters can be, it's not surprising that the owner didn't pick up on it. The types within the breed vary so much and I'm betting that when it comes time there will be a very disappointed breeder out there somewhere that gets a little of black skinny needle noses.
  16. he wouldn't attack anyone, he'd just be saying hello to them and their doggie
  17. Put the dogs in kennels where they will be safe as you cannot transport them properly
  18. Sometimes I do sometimes I don't. Where I know the bitch is in whelp, eating, looking great and progressing well I don't bother. I do ultrasound and xray when I think a litter may be on the small side and I'm suspecting there may be a singleton.
  19. A food with limited or no grains, avoid preservative and colours and also limit the chemicals you put on or in them. They thrive very well on a mix of raw and dry. Limit the veg intake, they don't need it and it does little for them. Raw meat on consumable bone is great, chicken necks, wings , carcass, turkey necks, rabbit, roo tail, lamb flaps, duck. Eggs can be given whole and raw or boiled with the shell if you want. Salmon heads are great. I subscribe to the chuck it at them Stafford diet. Avoid weight bearing bones, as tempting as it is to give them all day chewers it's the fasted way to cause teeth fractures and wear them down. They don't need puppy porridge, tinned puppy food or any of that junk, an 8 week old Stafford pup should come to you eating dry and charging through chicken wings, necks and carcass. No need to freeze anything.
  20. That's she's a gorgeous example of the breed in every aspect.
