We had a situation here a month ago and Gypsy went off like I've never seen, this fella kept yelling at her which made her more protective, he too asked me if she bit and I said she'll take your effin hand off if you don't back off, not that she would (but you never know ) fella soon took off into the darkness haven't seen him since. When we first moved into this house, it only had a wooden front door. The first thing I did was put a good screen door on it ! Fran - if you can, it would be a good time to re-socialise Atlas again, giving him a positive experience, just as a 'finishing touch' to his new learning. It might not be necessary, but it would be something I'd do, just to be sure he is being discriminate and not taking the frightening experience as more than a 'one-off'.
